No More.

Hey lovelies! How goes? Hopefully the weekend passed fabulous for you all. I got a little something, something, for you. PunchDrunk Candy has been up to carving some bodies and has some goodies for us!

I know that searching for wounds, cuts, and scars can be a total pain in the ass. Also, if you are a roleplayer, you tend to need them, more than not. So let me flaunt PDC’s “Knife Fight” applier/tattoos. She definitely has you covered with this one. As you can see the slash on my stomach, there are also slashes on the arms, and bandages on the front and back! They are perfect for those rougher times in roleplay…and in Lo’s case, she’ll be wearing them often =/ .

Back To Being Naughty.

Snapshot_0151

So we are pretty much mid swing of the holidays! With Christmas just wrapping up, we can put nice on the shelf, and pull those pitchforks and horns back out! I will apologize in advance for what may be considered a crappy post on my behalf, but between putting up things from Christmas and getting ready for the new year. I am strapped for time!

However, that being said…This pose by The Pose Shop was too good…or bad, depending on how you look at it..not to mention! It’s available at the Kinky Monthly event, which is a little new…or at least it’s new to me.  She has a couple of poses there, and they are all dirtily fabulous.

Keep It On The Down Low (Nobody Has To Know).

Keep It On The Down Low

I had so much inspiration for this photo! Going back even further than a year ago, this was pretty much the theme of my life (Don’t judge me). As you all know, I am a huge roleplayer. Sadly, I don’t get to play as much today, as I did then. But, one of my greatest story twists was meeting that wonderful man up there.

He was most certainly a guy from the other side of the tracks in my world. Alexis, was brought up strictly in her backstory. She were expected to wed a strong standing, Italian, man. So, she typically dated such. In fact, she were in quite a serious relationship with one, but some bad decisions on his part had caused a little ripple in an otherwise calm love pond.

The first time she laid eyes on Jack, in Hathian (Shoutout to old reliable, great place to rp), she knew there were just something about him. Whether it was the fact of his pale skin, IDGAF attitude and style, or that suave sarcastic, northern English, tone… There was just something that she couldn’t forget. He even disappeared for a few months, and normally she’d written people off, especially one that had became a cop…maiale. But somehow, fate maybe, he remained.

Some months later, still stuck in a rocky relationship, Jack came back (ha!). After inviting him to Dead End, (another dependable sim with great rpers)…as the song says, he lit the fire she were trying not to ignite. Night after night, he waited up for her…till the coast was clear and drama had tucked itself in…only then could she turn to him, her rock.

He was on the down low for quite a while, too long, now that I look back on it. Some people, regardless of what you tell them…refuse to let go, and it wasn’t until she felt free of her past that she could rightfully debut with her future.  Here it is, our second Christmas Bae…and still, all I want for Christmas…is you.

Now, that long story aside… a few things here. First off this new GIFT, yes I said GIFT, from Eyelure. The dress is named Waffle Weave (Silver), funny I know. At least you can remember it, right? It’s the free gift for December, so Merry early Christmas, Xmas, Holiday, or whatever it is you celebrate! The dress seemed a little upscale and classy, cue woman with a spoiled, seemingly, great life.

Then Goose Home & Gardening, was like “Hey! Let’s give these busy elves something to work with.” introducing the Tuscan Garden Wall Building Set and Marketplace. Now, while this is virtually anything you can dream, here are the pieces to build it, set. To me, I saw what appeared to be the makings of a extravagant entry to a wealthy estate. So after piecing a few pieces together, I easily (because their stuff is so great and detailed) had a garage and gated estate. You can pick up this set at the Cosmopolitan dec 6th – dec 19th, be sure to hurry over there as it is a *EXCLUSIVE*.

Now, last but most certainly not least! The Pose Shop! Piper Patrucci has always made some of my most favorite couple poses! When I got her message of good news, I could have squealed..may have a little *blushes*. One of my favorite things to do is take pictures with Jack and others. So, I am super excited and honored to exhibit her work. This pose 74, is a new release of hers and available in store! Something about it just seem to portray to me a couple full of desire and lust for one another. I picture two people who appreciate each moment they have with one another, when they can act on their inner hunger for one another…cue Jack, the other man.

Now, like I said above, Jack has always had that IDGAF style, even when he actually does. He puts a lot of thought into what he wears, its just not classy. It’s laid back, relaxed, and yet still stylish. I have gotten him in a suit a couple of times, and he has whined about it the entire time…it’s just not him. This jacket, hoody combo however screams Bae’s taste. I saw it while scrolling flickr, quite some time ago. Finally I got around to shopping for him and was rather floored to see this Hud attached combo, with a ridiculous amount of options come together for a small price of L199. You cannot get a better deal than that, and ladies it’s Christmas…you feel me? You can find the combo at Rebellion!

The End.

TheEnd

Normally you hear “The end is near”, but fortunately for us “The End” started today at noon SLT! The event is centered around the ever popular Post Apocalyptic theme. We all love zombies and the suspense of survival of the fittest. There are quiet a few roleplay sims opening up around secondlife, featuring such a genre.

There are a couple ‘must haves’ to survival post apocalyptic life. You’ll need preferably need a partner in slaying, because it’s hard to watch your own back, and I imagine that keeping yourself entertained wouldn’t be easy either. Second, you need a weapon. Grab a gun, bat, sword, ax, shovel, or anything else that you can get your hands on to do damage. I’m sure some of you ladies can possibly decapitate a being, living or dead, with your purses! The last thing you need, shelter. Now while you may be out in the boonies and no where near a Wal-Mart, ASDA, or hospital to take cover in. You must find something to keep you dry and hopefully out of the predator’s eyes. When all else fails, you make due with what you have.

Don’t worry, Hopscotch is to your rescue with it’s “Makeshift Shelter” tin shed. The shed comes with functioning door and window, however these parts are unlinked. Just make sure to select them both while editing your shed, or delete them if you like. The shed would work perfect for random sim décor, adding to the feel of impending doom and gloom of the typical Post Apoc setting. There is plenty of room inside for a couple chairs, even a fire pit, and cot. Continue reading

BloggerProblems

We’ve all been here, and maybe even after we ‘make it’ there are times we will find ourselves here again? I’m not sure, because I have yet to cross that hurdle. Well, on the SecondLife side of things. I achieved the hurdle on the console side, blogged there for a long while, before our ladies went our separate ways. I can remember even then, just when we all thought it were hopeless and we’d never get our foot in the door, the owner of CompuExpert approached us and we began reviewing for them, then came GripiTs, AcousticPC, and so on. It just feels like once you can get your foot in the door with one that so many others begin opening their doors and there you are. It’s the woes and trials we endure to get that first chance.

I have only been at this for nearly four months now, and already I find myself frustrated. While I’m willing to take any, I guess “professional”, advice I can get. I’m not sure if people take that as over stepping boundaries or on toes, which ever. I personally would not, and never hesitated to offer my advice or guidance on anything that were in the gaming industry. But fashion, even if its SecondLife/Virtual fashion, is a cutthroat industry and people aren’t always so open or giving.

So, it was my thought to take the bold step and reach out to those who have been fortunate enough to become a successful blogger and ask for pointers, advice, suggestions, and even critiquing of my personal work. Is this ‘gig’ really a hit or miss sort of chance, if you will? I have filled out so many blogger apps that always inquire “How often do you post?” That question is always tricky for me and usually if I have the option, I end up trying to explain myself. Getting your feet wet in blogging is certainly not cheap. I may only post once, maybe twice a week, but that is more related to the fact that my resources are limited. Not many value old material, and with the natural bills of any other person it’s not always possible to spend the money here that we’d all like to. While I’m positive there is always, regardless of who you are or how great your work is, room for improvement. I don’t feel I’m lacking quality in my artwork, but could always use suggestions. In fact, I welcome it and am trying to stay shy of begging for it!

Maybe in the end, I won’t be cut out for what this industry takes? I’m not sure, though I’d like to think that I am. I’d like to think I’m open minded enough to literally meet another’s wants, even if it means adjusting my taste. Blogging is of sorts a job, you are receiving merchandise for it, and it’s only fair that you please the distributor. While I toss this question around in my mind, over and over, I’ll never know for sure, until I receive that initial chance. Which then brings me back to square one, how do I get there?

This was a blog post meant as way to vent a little of my self-frustration and hopefully receive some pointers from those who are in the positions that I aspire to be. Therefore, if it’s not too much to ask toss out a few suggestions, even encouragement, for those who find themselves in a position like me on this. Thank you in advance, ❤ Lex

Feeling the Right Kind of Wrong.

Wrong Side of Right

Moar hair! I can never have enough hair! Truth Hawks, you dirty Devil, take my money. I love your style! If there is one hair that I will always depend on, its Truth! While I love a few hair creators, Truth is always a safe bet on fitting, trends, and accessory options. This little bow (capable of being worn without) is just ridiculous cute! Myself, I am a huge fan of the side bang and this is just a perfect make for me! With some styles, I find that oddly…apparently, I have a big head =/ So its not always easy for me to fit hairs, without my scalp, even with a alpha, showing on the side. I have not once had that problem with anything from Truth!

Secondly, Tee*fy’s tank tops that were found at N21 this round are a must! They are sleek and sexy, long, great paired with nearly anything and even cute to run around the house in, looking appealing with a pair of panties…Oh la la, right? They come in a variety of colors and this design, not to mention the option to buy this cute ‘bra top’ with a hud of many colors and some animal print to pair beneath it… The tank top is capable to be worn with or without the bra top… Continue reading

Quick post to say something very simple…. GO TO Shiny Shabby, like O..M..G. I just cannot get enough of these laid back styles. Perhaps because it fits my real life, personal, style? I’m not fully sure, but aside of this month’s Uber event, which is wear a picked up a few of the items used in this pic, Shiny Shabby is the place to be for Boho! Continue reading
